Today I arrived a tad earlier than normal, and came across two workmen on a cherry picker, diligently working on something at the very front of the core. I watched them for a while, and it appears they were attaching cables to various points and pulling with the picker. I'm not sure exactly what they were doing, but they sure were working hard at it. A storm was moving into the area, so work had to stop for the day. Later, near park closing, I was able to catch a spectacular pic of lightning arcing over the broken mass of the bulding.
